How To Auto-Connect all Cables

When Cable Manager is opened for the very first time, cable source and target are not connected and there is no cable length to be displayed.

The procedure to establish a connection between source and target equipment is to Auto-Connect the cables.

Select all cables in the cable manager by clicking the check box at the topmost row.

Next, select Auto Connect from Ribbon.

Cable length will now be updated and displayed. Displayed cable length is shortest possible orthogonal distance between source and target. Once cables are routed this length will be updated.
